This quick and easy breakfast can be prepared in the microwave in less than 5 minutes!
Ingredients:
1 cup whole rolled oats
1/3 cup fresh fruit (e.g. berries or banana)
21/3 cups reduced fat milk
Method:
Place the oats and milk in a bowl suitable for the microwave – or place oats and milk in saucepan and cook over moderate heat for 7-8 mins, stirring until thick & creamy.
Stir well and place in microwave for 2 minutes (cooking time may vary depending on microwave)
Stir well and cook for a further 1-2 minutes. Add more milk if it becomes too thick.
Add fruit to serve.
